Your Council's Latest Deep Dive into...Agendas
It’s another Tuesday in Edmonton, which means another batch of City Hall proceedings has trickled out. You know, the kind of stuff that makes you really appreciate the River Valley's quietude. This past week, the Agenda Review Committee — that's Councillors Knack, Stevenson, and Wright — were particularly busy. They voted unanimously, 3-0, to approve their agenda, then their minutes, then to meet in public, and then, immediately after, to meet in private.
Honestly though, it’s all very neat and tidy, almost like a well-executed pick-and-roll from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to Leon Draisaitl. All five motions on March 31, 2026, including amending draft agendas, passed with a 3-0 vote, according to the recent council motions and voting records. It's a testament to… agreement, I suppose. It takes a certain kind of person to sit through these meetings. Perhaps it builds character, much like a January commute on an unplowed road.
