### This Week at City Hall: Keep Yer Umbrella Handy and Your Eyes on Cogswell!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

What a week it's been down at City Hall, eh? Most of our chats, bless their hearts, were all about the weather, my son. It felt like every morning, we were hearing tell of some new bluster coming in off the Atlantic.

* Environment Canada was issuing warnings from Tuesday clean through to Thursday.

* The specifics were a bit shifty, like a fog bank rolling in, but the message was clear: prepare for some weather!

It had us wondering if April Fool's Day was playing tricks, what with the alerts feeling a bit "off" on Monday. But bless your heart, Mother Nature was just getting warmed up for some good Nova Scotia drama, eh?

Then, the other big yarn, the one that’s got half of downtown breathing a sigh of relief, is the Cogswell Interchange redevelopment. That's a project that's been on the go for some time, and the word from the City is that those traffic woes are nearing an end. Some good news for those daily commutes down by the waterfront, buddy.

That's the shape of it from City Hall this week, my son. Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Find us at mornings.live for more Halifax stories, eh?
