Bernard Avenue just got a new 2 AM spot. Are you ready?

Good morning from the Okanagan — the lake is calm, the vines are growing, and we have things to discuss.

## Bernard Avenue just got a new late-night spot

Okay but here's the thing nobody talks about: the vibe on Bernard Avenue after 9 PM. It’s either hopping or it’s crickets, right? Well, City Hall just made a move that could shift things. According to the recent business license approvals, the new **Moonlit Mesa Lounge** got the green light for 432 Bernard Avenue, right there in the heart of downtown.

They’re approved for a liquor primary license and plan to be open until 2 AM. This isn't just another coffee shop; it's a dedicated late-night establishment. What does this mean for our main strip? Potentially more foot traffic, more options for folks after the restaurants close up shop. We've seen a few spots try to make a go of it late on Bernard, so keeping an eye on how Moonlit Mesa fares will be interesting.

The next few months will really tell the story for this new spot and Bernard's evening scene.

You know Keith and the gang are already arguing about this on the show right now — stream it live at mornings.live.
