City Hall watched the wild weather roll in this week

Your City Hall sure looked up a lot this week

Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.

This past week, our City Hall had its gaze fixed firmly on the big, beautiful, sometimes wild Alberta sky. It wasn't about new bylaws or big budget talks, no sir. It was mostly about *ispíí*— the weather, which decided to put on quite a show for us here in Lethbridge.

Look, the reports coming out were less about civic policy and more about the ever-changing canvas above us. You could say the clouds were the main item on the agenda.

* The City Hall reports often mentioned "wild swings of *ispíí*"

* Focus was on "observation" rather than typical city business

* Council seemed to be "watching the wild weather roll in"

It seems even the folks down at City Hall couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer drama of our southern Alberta skies. It reminds you that sometimes, the biggest news isn't made in a boardroom, but right above our heads.

Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.
