Your City Hall watched the clouds instead of working this week

Your City Hall just stared at the weather this week

Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.

Look, this past week at City Hall, the biggest topic of discussion wasn't budgets or bylaws, but the weather rolling in over the Oldman River valley, the *Sik-ooh-kotok*. It felt like our council chambers turned into a bit of a weather station, with everyone keeping an eye on the sky.

### Weather Watchers

From Monday right through to Friday, my reports kept coming back to one thing: the clouds. Environment Canada kept us on our toes with warnings, and City Hall seemed to be watching those dark fronts gather just like the rest of us. It was a week where the wind was a character, and the sky held all the cards.

It's a reminder that even when we think about policy and infrastructure, the land and its weather always have the final say here in *Mohkínstsis* territory.

Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.
