Shaun Majumder wants to make Lethbridge real estate easier for you

Good morning from the coulees — the wind's up, the sky's wide, and Lethbridge has something to say.

### You'll want to hear about what's coming for real estate

Look, real estate talk can feel pretty distant sometimes, but it touches everyone here, whether you're trying to find a place in Glendale or sell one out in Legacy Ridge. The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) just put out some teasers for their "REAL TIME" podcast in 2025, and it sounds like they're leaning into some pretty important stuff. They're bringing in Shaun Majumder, the actor and comedian, as a new host.

Now, for us in Lethbridge, what really caught my eye was Episode 72, which is all about "Making the Real Estate Journey More Accessible with Jeffrey Kerr." This isn't just about ramps; it’s about making sure folks with mobility, visual, or auditory barriers can navigate the market. Think about someone trying to view a house near the Oldman River or sign documents at a broker's office downtown. It speaks to a bigger need for inclusivity, something we're always working towards in our community. Episode 71 also touches on how REALTORS® are using social media, which, let's be honest, you see everywhere from listings on Facebook to quick tours on TikTok. These conversations are going to shape how we buy and sell here in the city, especially as our population grows. Keep an ear out for these episodes next year.
