Your streets are drowning in 17,000 trash calls

Okay so check it— your City Hall is, like, literally drowning in trash. No mames, I'm not even kidding.

### LA's Trash Problem Is No Joke

The latest 311 service request data for Los Angeles just dropped, and it is *wild*. We're talking almost 9,200 requests for "Item Pickups" and another 7,800-plus for "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" in, like, just the past reporting period. That's, what, over 17,000 calls about people just dumping stuff on our streets! And then you got another 3,200 for "Graffiti Removal." Oye, it's like people just forget we live here.

And look, it’s not just the Westside with their old couches, ya sabes? This is happening *everywhere*. The city's trying to keep up, but when you see those numbers, it's clear we got a bigger issue than just a few rogue mattresses. It makes you wonder how much resources are going into literally picking up after people when that money could be, like, building more affordable housing or fixing our busted sidewalks.

What's next? You gotta wonder when City Hall is gonna step up with a real plan to tackle this, beyond just reacting to calls. Because right now, the streets are speaking, and they're saying we're filthy.

That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
