Your kitchen remodel might be next, oye!
Okay so check it— everybody's always wondering what City Hall is actually *doing*, right? Beyond all the fancy press conferences and the yelling, what's actually getting approved? Well, I dug into some fresh data for you, like straight from the city's development activity logs, and it's pretty wild.
First up, someone out there is getting a pool equipment room added. Yeah, you heard me right, a *pool*. The permit for that, it's a supplemental one to an existing project, and it officially got logged on March 4, 2015. So while some folks are still trying to figure out how to pay rent, others are literally adding rooms for their pool stuff. No mames.
But hey, there's also some good news for the regular folks. On March 5, 2015, there was a permit approved for kitchen and two bathroom remodels for residential buildings. No structural changes, which means it’s probably just making life a little better inside. You know, for people who live in actual houses, not mansions in Bel-Air.
What this means for us, fam, is that the city's always got a mix of projects on the books. From luxury add-ons to basic home improvements. It just shows you who's got the money to make moves in this city, and it's not always us. Keep an eye on what gets approved in your neighborhood—it says a lot about where things are heading.
That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
