Your 2015 pool house permit is still chilling at City Hall.

Okay so check it— your building permits for your pool house, your kitchen, your bathroom, they're like, still moving through. That's good, right? It means people are actually doing stuff with their homes, investing in their neighborhoods.

### The Permits Keep Piling Up

Here’s the thing, fam. City Hall is still processing a bunch of permits, like, all the time. It might feel slow when you're waiting on yours, but they are literally out there.

* A permit to add a pool equipment room was supplemental to an existing project, filed back on March 4, 2015. Yeah, *2015*. These things take time, no mames.

* Another one for a kitchen and two bathrooms got filed on March 5, 2015. This was for a residential building, no structural changes needed. Just a glow-up, ya sabes.

It's literally what keeps this city, like, building itself. You see these things all over, from the new condos popping up in the Arts District that nobody asked for, to people just trying to fix up their spot in El Sereno. What we gotta watch for is how fast these things move. Is City Hall actually making it easier for us, the regular people, to fix up our homes without a million hoops to jump through? That’s the real LA, fam — east of the 110.

Oye, Keith and the crew are gonna be all over this on the morning show, like, literally. Tune in live at mornings.live.
