Your City Hall reports are flowing again
Here's the thing about Peterborough, the currents of civic life, much like the Otonabee itself, can sometimes feel a little dammed up, or perhaps, a bit turbulent. This past week, we’ve been navigating a mix of both.
We started the week feeling the approach of budget season, which always brings a certain kind of intensity to council chambers. Then, a real storm brewed, a weather alert that reminded us how connected we are to this land and its unpredictable moods. The flow of information felt a bit intermittent at times, like a river with shifting sands.
But even through those moments, the consistent hum of civic duty continued. We're still looking at those development permits, watching how our city grows and changes along the riverbanks.
* Budget season is on the horizon.
* An active weather alert passed through.
* Development permits are still a key focus.
It’s a rhythm, you know? The push and pull, the calm and the storm. It’s how we move forward, together, here in Peterborough.
This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
