Your City Hall waters are getting clear again
Here's the thing about Peterborough, the flow of civic life, much like the Otonabee itself, can sometimes feel a little turbulent. This past week, we've been navigating a mix of both down at City Hall.
We started with a bit of a dammed-up feeling on Monday, the information wasn't quite flowing as it usually does. Then, Tuesday, a storm started brewing – literally. An active weather alert reminded us all how connected we are to the rhythms of this land and its waters.
But by Wednesday, the currents began to pick up again, and by Thursday and Friday, things were flowing much more smoothly.
* Early week: Information flow a bit slow.
* Mid-week: Active weather alert in effect.
* Late week: Information flow restored.
We're still looking ahead to budget season, which is always a significant current. But for now, the waters seem to have calmed.
This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
