Peterborough City Hall's information dam finally broke this week

Your City Hall News is Finally Flowing Again

Here's the thing about Peterborough, sometimes the flow of information, much like the Otonabee itself, can get a little backed up. This past week, we've been watching the waters at City Hall, and I'm glad to report that the currents are starting to move again.

**Charting the Week's Waters**

It felt like we were navigating some pretty choppy waters earlier in the week. There was a sense that things were a bit dammed up, and that feeling permeated our reporting. We talked about how:

* Information flow from City Hall felt constrained.

* Civic updates were slow to materialize.

* A general turbulence seemed to hang over our local reporting efforts.

But as the week wore on, and especially as we reached the midpoint, things began to shift. The sense of a backed-up flow started to ease. It's good to see those channels opening up, bringing us the updates we rely on to understand what's happening in our community. We're keeping an eye on the river, making sure it stays clear.

This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
