Your City Hall information flow was dammed up. What happened?

Your City Hall flow has been a little dammed up

Here’s the thing about Peterborough, the flow of information, much like the Otonabee itself, can sometimes feel a little turbulent. This past week down at City Hall, we've been watching those currents pretty closely.

We started the week with a bit of a dammed-up feeling. Reports weren't quite flowing as freely as we'd like, making it tough to get a clear picture of what's happening in the civic waters.

### Getting Clearer Currents

But as the week went on, those waters started to clear. By Friday, it felt like the information was finally moving again.

* The open data portal, which felt a bit dry earlier, seems to be replenishing.

* We're still looking ahead to budget season, which is always a significant current that shapes everything we do here. It’s the big river that feeds all the smaller streams of civic life.

It's a reminder that even in a small city, the push and pull of information is vital. Knowing what's happening at City Hall helps us all navigate our shared journey here in Nogojiwanong.

This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
