Your 311 calls tell the real story of Philly
Listen, I'm not even gonna hold you, the latest 311 service request numbers just dropped, and it's a peek right into what's bugging us out here in Philly. Forget all the fancy City Hall talk, this is the real wooder.
You know what's top of the list? "Miscellaneous" requests are through the roof. It ain't just one or two, it's a whole lot of 'em. Then "Maintenance Complaints" are right up there too, and then "License Complaints" and "Illegal Dumping" follow close behind. We're talking about the everyday stuff that makes living in this city good or nah. It ain't just an abstract jawn, it's about the block, your street, your house.
This tells you what people are actually seeing and dealing with, whether it's the potholes on your street in West Philly or that vacant lot down the block in South Philly getting used as a dump site. We call 311 when we need something done, and right now, it looks like we need a lot of different things done, with "Miscellaneous" leading the pack.
That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here. Keep an eye on how these numbers shift, because that's gonna show us if City Hall is actually hearing us, or nah.
