Philly's building permits say "N/A." What's going on?

Your tax dollars are doing WHAT, Philly?

Listen, I'm not even gonna hold you. City Hall is always doing some jawn that makes you scratch your head, or nah? You give them your wooder bill money, your property tax money, and you expect them to handle the city's business, right? Well, let's talk about what's actually happening, according to the latest civic data.

### Development Activity Got Me Looking Sideways

So, you know how everyone's always complaining about development in Philly? Like another high-rise popping up in Fishtown, or some new luxury condos gentrifying West Philly? Well, according to the latest report on Development Activity, there's a whole lot of N/A going on for "Operations" and "Building" permits.

* Operations: N/A

* Operations: N/A

* Building: N/A

* Building: N/A

* Electrical: N/A

That "N/A" for "Operations" and "Building" permits ain't nothing to sneeze at, especially with all the talk about growth and new jobs. It makes you wonder what kind of "development" is actually moving forward, or if things are just stalled out on some key projects. We need to know if the city's making it easy or hard to get these jobs done.

What does this mean for us? It means we gotta keep an eye on what's really getting built and what's just talk. Are we getting the affordable housing we need, or are things just sitting in limbo while developers figure out their next move? We gotta hold these folks accountable, or nah?

That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.
