Regina City Hall went silent. What gives?

Your City Hall's been mighty quiet this week, eh?

Hey there, Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, on the Morning Wire. This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

You know, it's been one of those weeks where City Hall's been quieter than a prairie Sunday morning. Usually, I'm digging into all the tenders, the council debates, or some new initiative down on Albert Street, eh? But this week, it’s just been… *tâpwê* quiet.

It really feels like the tumbleweeds have been rolling through those big doors. We've been checking the city's open data portal, and it's been pretty sparse. Not a lot of new civic data to report on, which is unusual for us.

* No major council motions

* Few new project tenders

* Even the usual permit updates have been thin

Could be the spring thaw bringing other things to the surface, or maybe everyone's just planning their summer trips to Katepwa. Whatever it is, City Hall's been giving us the silent treatment. But don't you worry, we're still keeping our ears to the ground, listening for any little rustle, eh? Oh for sure.

This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, for the MiTL Sports Desk Morning Wire. *Kihci-mâna askîy*.
