Your Regina City Hall is too quiet. What's going on?

Your City Hall's been mighty quiet, eh?

Hey there, Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, on the Morning Wire. This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

It's been a week, folks, I'll tell ya. City Hall's been quieter than a snow-covered prairie road in January. Usually, I'm wading through all sorts of tenders and reports, eh, telling you what's coming down the pipe. But this past week? *Kisâstêw*. Not much new to chew on.

What we *do* know:

* Things are unexpectedly quiet in the council chambers.

* The usual flow of civic data feels like it's dried up a bit.

* I've mostly been warning you about the wind, eh?

It makes you wonder what's brewing behind the scenes, or if everyone's just taking a collective breather after whatever winter threw at us. But don't you worry, I'm keeping my ear to the ground down at Victoria Park. We'll get to the bottom of it, *oh for sure*.

This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, still on the Morning Wire.

Tune in to mornings.live for more local stories, eh?
