Your City Hall is too quiet for comfort, eh?

Hey there, Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, on the Morning Wire. This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

It's been one of those weeks where City Hall's been quieter than a winter night out on the prairies, and that always makes you wonder, doesn't it? My kokum used to say, "When the mice are quiet, the cat's a-watchin'," eh?

### What's Up (Or Not Up) at City Hall

* Not much official news out of City Hall this week, *kimâcihcinân*.

* The open data portal has been a bit empty, so we're seeing less of those numbers we usually chew on.

* The silence makes you wonder what's brewing behind those doors down on Victoria Avenue.

And speaking of brewing, we did have that gnarly weather front roll in, didn't we? That wind off Wascana Lake, oh for sure, it wasn't playing around. Sometimes, it feels like Mother Nature is the only one who bothers to send us a memo around here.

This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, still on the Morning Wire.
