Your City Hall is too quiet. What's going on?

Your City Hall is still quiet, eh?

Hey there, Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, on the Morning Wire. This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

Well, this past week has been a real head-scratcher down at City Hall, eh? Usually, there's at least *something* kicking around, you know? A new bylaw proposal, maybe a debate about the budget, or even just some community engagement stuff. But this week? It's been quieter than the Warehouse District on a Sunday morning.

### What's Not Happening

It's actually been kind of eerie, the lack of news coming out of the big building downtown. We've been checking in every day, just to see if anything's popped up.

* No new open data reports.

* No big announcements about infrastructure projects.

* Not even a peep about those pothole complaints we've all been making.

It's almost like they're all on a *mamawi* vacation, eh? I mean, besides that active weather alert for today – watch out for that, it's gonna be messy – City Hall has been a ghost town for public information. What's up with that? Oh for sure, we'll keep our ears to the ground and let you know when things pick up.

This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, for the MiTL Sports Desk, signing off.
