Regina's housing market is still a wild ride, eh?

Regina, your housing market is on my mind again, eh?

This is Regina — yeah, we know what it sounds like, and we've heard your joke. Now sit down and listen.

*Tânisi* Regina. Darlene Chicken-Lawson here, giving you the rundown of what we’ve been chatting about this week from City Hall. It's been a busy one, even with the portal being a bit quiet today, eh?

Mainly, we’ve been talking a lot about our housing market. It's still a real wild ride out there, with prices doing all sorts of things that make you shake your head a bit, and affordability still a big question for a lot of folks. It feels like every time we turn around, there's another story about how hard it is to get into a place, or keep one, down by the Warehouse District or out in Harbour Landing.

### The Weather's Been Doing Its Thing, Too

We also spent some time this week looking up at the sky, eh? There were a few days where the weather was just a real mess – big winds, that kind of mixed bag of rain and whatever else decided to blow in off the prairies. You really had to tie down your recycling bins and keep an eye on the kids walking to school, *oh for sure*.

It’s always something here, isn’t it? This is Darlene Chicken-Lawson, bringing you the news from the heart of Treaty Four territory.
