Your city hall is too quiet. What are they hiding?

Your City Hall has been *too* quiet this week.

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.

Right, so this past week down at City Hall has been... well, it’s been a little *too* quiet for my liking, you know? Usually, when there's not a lot of civic data coming out, it means something’s brewing behind the scenes, or they’re just taking a breather. I'll tell you what, it makes me nervous either way.

We've been watching the City Hall’s open data portal, and it's been about as empty as the docks on a Sunday morning. No new numbers, no fresh reports to chew on.

* The data portal seems to be having a bit of a dry spell, right?

* It's left us with more questions than answers about what's happening.

* My sources, *mes amis*, are being as tight-lipped as clams at low tide.

It leaves us all wondering what’s really going on down at the municipal building. Are they just catching their breath after a busy winter, or is something bigger being cooked up without us seeing the ingredients? For us here in Saint John, with the Irving operations always humming, you get used to a certain level of quiet, but this feels different.

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.
