Your umbrella barely stood a chance this week

Your umbrellas are getting a workout this week

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.

Well, if you've been anywhere near a window this week, you've already got the gist of what's been happening at City Hall, or rather, *around* City Hall. I'll tell you what, it's been a real weather circus, right? Every morning, we've been tracking some new flavour of Fundy gale or downpour.

Here's the quick rundown:

* **Monday & Tuesday:** Started with "unseasonal" snow warnings, then upgraded to proper winter storm alerts. Your morning drive was likely a white-knuckle affair.

* **Wednesday:** Switched gears to an "umbrella-useless" rain warning. Just buckets of it, coming down like it wanted to wash the whole city into the harbour.

* **Thursday & Friday:** Kept up with the wet stuff, more rain, special weather statements, the works. It's been a week for rubber boots and good rain gear, for sure.

Honestly, the main civic data coming out of Saint John this week has been the sloshing of puddles and the gusting of wind off the Bay. We're still waiting on any new numbers from the city's open data portal, but Mother Nature certainly hasn't been shy with her reports.
