Saint John City Hall is too quiet. What are they hiding?

Your City Hall has been unusually quiet this week

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.

Right, so if you were hoping for some big news out of Saint John City Hall this week, you'll have been sorely disappointed, I'll tell you what. It's been quieter than the Reversing Falls at slack tide, eh? We've seen almost no new data, no major announcements, nothing that really moves the needle.

We were expecting updates on a few ongoing projects — the whole harbour cleanup, right, and what's happening with the Fundy Quay development. But no, the open data portal has been a bit of a ghost town. It's not like the folks down at City Hall are sitting idle, mind you, but whatever they're up to, they're keeping it under wraps.

It's left us with more questions than answers, really. You gotta wonder if there's something brewing behind closed doors, or if everyone just decided to take a long spring break. We'll be keeping an eye on it.

Good morning from the Fundy shore — the tide's turning, and so is New Brunswick. Let's get into it.
