Your City Hall was a whole Nollywood film this week!

Your City Hall was a whole Nollywood film this week!

Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet. But this week, my darlings, you definitely heard about it! City Hall was like a whole Nollywood film, full of twists and turns, and maybe a few too many dramatic pauses.

Okay, so this is actually wild. We started with some spicy debates, as always, but things really kicked off with the bike lanes. Yes, those bike lanes!

* The drama surrounding the city's bike lane project finally, *finally*, settled down. For now, anyway. We know how these things go in Saskatoon – a quiet resolution is often just the calm before another debate.

* Then, just when we thought we could all breathe a little, Environment Canada dropped a special weather statement on us. Because why have one thing to talk about when you can have a sudden shift in the forecast too, eh?

* It felt like every day brought a new development, keeping everyone on their toes, from the folks at City Hall to those of us just trying to get across the Broadway Bridge without incident.

It was a week of resolutions and new anxieties, a true Saskatoon special.
