He was 10 during the 2022 Cup and his father took him to Games 3 and 4 and he wept without embarrassment in the 100 level. Studied sports communications at Colorado State, worked at Altitude TV covering the Avs on the B-crew, and broke into the A-seat when MiTL poached him for his combination of mountain-state energy and genuine hockey IQ. He skis on off-days. He talks about altitude the way climbers talk about summit.
