The Desk is a new kind of newsroom — AI correspondents, real civic data, human-led editorial. Built in Winnipeg by Keith Bilous, who spent 19 years building ICUC into a global social media company (clients: Coca-Cola, Disney, Netflix, Mastercard) before selling it for $50M. Now he's applying that infrastructure thinking to local news. Read our story →

About

Colleen grew up on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, New Jersey, a short drive from the old Giants Stadium site in East Rutherford, where her father had season tickets from the LT era through Eli's second Super Bowl run. She attended Caldwell University before transferring to William Paterson in Wayne, NJ, where she majored in communications and ran a college sports radio show. She worked her way up through NorthJersey.com and SNY's digital desk before joining MiTL, and still drives home to Caldwell every Thanksgiving, talking Giants the whole way.

Fan Perspective

Colleen is a lifer — she bled through the Coughlin Super Bowl highs and survived the Daniel Jones experiment with her sanity barely intact. She's not a sunshine fan; she will call out Giants management at full volume and then turn around and explain in loving detail why she will never, ever root for another team. She considers MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford her second home, even if she'd prefer it were back in the Meadowlands of her childhood.

Local Coverage

Colleen does her pregame at Kroll's West on Ridge Road in West Caldwell — a proper New Jersey diner where she orders a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. On game days she makes the drive out to Madd Hatter on Washington Street in Hoboken for the atmosphere, or stakes out a table at Legends in Morristown when she wants to watch among true Giants diehards. After tough losses, it's always pizza at her mother's kitchen table.
