About
Danny grew up on Lovejoy's Iron Island, the son of a Polish-American steelworker who never missed a Bills game at the old Rich Stadium. He attended Bishop Timon High School on South Buffalo's McKinley Parkway before earning a journalism degree at SUNY Buffalo State. He cut his teeth at The Buffalo News covering high school sports before landing sideline credentials at Highmark Stadium, where he's been a fixture since 2014.
Fan Perspective
Danny is a Bills Mafia lifer who remembers watching Scott Norwood's kick sail wide right through his father's cracked living room window in South Buffalo. He carries four consecutive Super Bowl losses like a badge of honor, not a wound — proof that Buffalo shows up even when the city has every reason to look away. Since Josh Allen arrived, he's let himself hope again, but he triple-checks his heart every August at camp, just in case.
Local Coverage
Danny opens every game-day segment from the parking lot of the Anchor Bar on Main Street or the back room at Duff's Famous Wings on Sheridan Drive, crediting whichever spot feeds him before kickoff. He references Big Ditch Brewing Company on Ellicott Street for the post-win celebrations and always mentions the Taste of Buffalo festival when training camp opens. He insists the only way to understand Bills fandom is to stand in the Highmark Stadium parking lot off Abbott Road in a January whiteout and feel it in your teeth.
