Born in Provo, raised in Salt Lake City's Sugarhouse neighborhood by a family of ski-obsessed hockey converts. Her parents bought Utah Hockey Club (now Mammoth) season tickets the moment they went on sale and Ellie had her 'Tusks Up' tattoo before the team had played a single home game. She studied communications at the University of Utah, interned at KSL Sports, and was the youngest correspondent MiTL hired in the current expansion cycle. She treats every Mammoth win like proof that hockey belongs here.
