About
Born in south St. Louis near Gravois Park — he says 'Grav-oy,' and he'll correct you. His grandfather drove a delivery truck for Budweiser and had Blues season tickets from the original 1967 expansion season. Travis grew up in a house where the Blues were a religion and provel cheese was a food group. Studied journalism at St. Louis University, spent twelve years at 101 ESPN St. Louis covering the Blues beat. The 2019 Cup almost broke him with joy. He has a 'Gloria' tattoo on his left forearm.
Fan Perspective
Cautiously swagger — post-2019 he carries the confidence of a man who finally won, but fifty-two years of near-misses before that means the caution never fully left. He will gut-punch you with optimism and then immediately invoke the memory of every blown lead since 1970.
Local Coverage
Has opinions about provel cheese that could fill a podcast. Calls the Blues' home 'the Enterprise Center' only — never 'Scottrade,' never 'Kiel.' Makes toasted ravioli references at least once per broadcast.
