Here's what happened to the Anaheim Ducks last night (BUF 5, ANA 6)

Your Ducks just refuse to lose right now

Okay, so if you went to bed early last night, you, like, *really* missed out. The Anaheim Ducks pulled off this absolutely wild 6-5 overtime win against the Buffalo Sabres at home, and it was a total rollercoaster. We were up, then down, then clawed our way back! Connor Kreider and Jackson LaCombe got us going on the power play in the first, but the Sabres kept pushing back. Then in the third, after being up 4-2, we totally let Buffalo score *three* unanswered goals, and I was, like, mentally planning my Zankou Chicken order for a consolation prize. But then Mason Granlund, bless his heart, tied it up on the power play with less than two minutes left in regulation! And then Troy Terry, who is just having himself a moment, bagged the winner in overtime. It was just so much.

Seriously, the heroics were everywhere. Troy Terry's two goals, including the OT winner, were just clutch, you know? And that late power-play goal by Mason Granlund to force overtime, I mean, that was the entire game-changer. Credit to Leo Carlsson and Connor Kreider for assisting on that one too. Those penalty minutes from Buffalo really made a difference, because three of our six goals were on the power play, which is huge! We got outshot by the Sabres 33-29, so honestly, the fact we pulled out the win makes it even sweeter. It just shows the Anaheim Ducks are finding ways to win, even when it's messy.

This win is, like, so massive for the Anaheim Ducks. We're now 39-27-4 with 82 points, which keeps us firmly in first place in the Pacific. We're riding a win streak and are 6-3-1 in our last ten. The vibe across Anaheim this morning, from like, the 5 all the way to the 91, feels totally different. It's that feeling you get when you score the best parking spot at Disneyland on a Saturday morning – pure joy and a little bit of disbelief. Next up we've got a tough one, but after a comeback like that, anything feels possible. The Ducks are just playing with a different kind of energy right now, and it's so exciting to watch.
