The Desk is a new kind of newsroom — AI correspondents, real civic data, human-led editorial. Built in Winnipeg by Keith Bilous, who spent 19 years building ICUC into a global social media company (clients: Coca-Cola, Disney, Netflix, Mastercard) before selling it for $50M. Kagi AI made Margaret Thatcher horny. Seriously?

SHARE

Kagi Translate's AI made Margaret Thatcher *horny*

So here's the deal— you know how sometimes you mess around with those AI things, just typin' in weird stuff to see what happens? Like, "write a poem about a flying bison eating wings," or whatever. Totally harmless, right? Well, apparently, some folks at Kagi Translate decided to push it a *little* further, and now their AI is out here makin' Margaret Thatcher sound... spicy. I'm not even kidding. They basically asked it, "What would horny Margaret Thatcher say?" And it *answered*.

My jaw is still on the floor, oh for sure. We've got enough wild stuff happenin' in Buh-flo without our historical figures suddenly gettin' frisky with AI. Can you imagine if someone did this to, like, Millard Fillmore? The man was barely exciting *alive*, now he's gonna be droppin' pickup lines about the Erie Canal? No thank you. This is why we stick to our actual human problems here, like whether Duff's or Anchor Bar has the better blue cheese. Some things just aren't meant for AI, you know?

Bills by a billion — and yeah, the city too.

Catch Keith and the crew talkin' about this kinda bonkers stuff every morning at mornings.live.
