How Raleigh is feeling about tonight's game

SHARE

Your Canes are feeling good for tonight!

Alright, y'all, the vibe in Raleigh this morning, from my usual spot at Jubala Coffee on Hillsborough Street all the way down to the State Farmers Market, is pure, unadulterated confidence. Nobody's anxious, nobody's checked out, we're just... electric. After that absolute clinic against the Boston Bruins, winning tonight against the Montréal Canadiens feels less like a hope and more like an expectation. Folks in the group chats ain't even talking about *if* we win, it's all about *how many* we put past them. We're fixin' to keep this win streak rolling, no doubt.

The big local chatter, the thing everyone's whispering about while they're pretending to work at their laptops in the Research Triangle, is the penalty kill. It's been absolutely lights out, a real difference-maker, and it's got Caniacs feeling like we can weather any storm. Plus, everyone's still buzzing about those Storm Surges from the last few home games — it’s like our personality just keeps getting bigger and bolder. We're the Bunch of Jerks, and we're proud of it, especially heading into the playoffs. Tonight, we just keep proving it.

Cause Chaos — from Raleigh, this is T-Man.

The fellas on the morning show are always choppin' it up about this stuff; y'all should check 'em out at mornings.live.
