Here's what happened to the Carolina Hurricanes last night (CAR 4, TOR 3)

Your Hurricanes took Toronto in OT and you gotta be buzzing!

What a wild one up in Toronto, y'all! If you crashed out after the second period, you missed a doozy. Your Carolina Hurricanes beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in overtime, with Andrei Nikishin netting the winner just 41 seconds into the extra frame. It was back and forth all night. Toronto got on the board first with a goal from D. Joshua in the first. But in the second, the Canes went on a tear. Jordan Staal tied it up on the power play, then E. Robinson gave us the lead. Toronto's John Tavares quickly answered, but then K. Miller scored a shorthanded beauty to put us back ahead. Toronto's William Nylander tied it late in the third to send it to OT, but we kept our cool. Seth Jarvis and Sebastian Aho were dishing dimes all night, each grabbing two assists. Frederik Andersen stood tall, facing 36 shots.

This win is massive, folks. It keeps the Carolina Hurricanes firmly planted at the top of the Metropolitan Division with 94 points, extending that lead and putting some serious distance between us and the chasing pack. It shows we can go into a tough road environment, take punches, and still come out on top. That kind of resilience is what you need heading into the postseason. We're on a win streak now, and with the playoffs just around the corner, every point matters for home-ice advantage. The Bunch of Jerks are showing up every single night, and the energy in Raleigh this morning is gonna feel like a Saturday at the State Farmers Market, just buzzing.
