Here's what happened to the Chicago Blackhawks last night (NSH 3, CHI 2)

Another Chicago Blackhawks OT Loss, Are You Kidding Me?

Lookit, you wake up this mornin' feelin' like you got a little bit of that heartburn, right? That’s ‘cause the Chicago Blackhawks went and coughed up a point against them Nashville Predators last night, losin' 3-2 in overtime at da United Center. We were up a coupla times, had the lead in the third, and then just... poof. Filip Forsberg, who I swear is always scorin' against us, put it in just a little over a minute into OT. It stings, especially when you know we coulda had a full two points. I'm just sayin'.

Nolan Lardis got us on the board in the second period, a real nice play, and then our guy, Connor Bedard, he buried one from a sharp angle later in the period. The kid, he's just somethin' else, watchin' him makes you feel like the old days, you know? But then, right after Bedard’s goal, we let Sam Stamkos — yeah, *that* Stamkos, still can’t believe he’s with Nashville — tie it up for them in the third. It was back and forth, shots were pretty even, 33 to 28 for them, but when it came down to it, we couldn't close it out.

So, what does it mean? We're still sittin' in eighth in the Central Division, barely clingin' to any kinda Wild Card hope, which, let's be real, is a long shot anyway. We're 26-31-13 on the season, 65 points, and our last ten games? Three wins, three regulation losses, and four overtime losses. That's a lotta "coulda, woulda, shoulda." It’s gonna be another one of those days on the Red Line this mornin', I can already feel the collective sigh across the city from Portage Park to da South Loop. We gotta find a way to finish these games, especially the ones at home.

From da Madhouse on Madison — this is Kozy. Let's go Hawks.

You gotta hear the guys on the morning show talk about this one – they're on live at mornings.live, you know?
