🏛 EXCLUSIVE: CITY HALL DATA — Only on The Desk

Halifax City Hall worried about your roof AND the sky this week

SHARE

Your City Hall was all about the weather and your home, my son!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, if you've been listenin' in, you know it's been a week of two big things down at City Hall, eh? Mostly, we've been keepin' an eye on the sky, with weather alerts comin' in like a fast-moving squall line off the Atlantic. Some good warnings there, tellin' us to get ready for whatever Mother Nature had cookin' up for us. I bet your umbrellas got a workout!

But when they weren't talkin' about the wind and the rain, my son, they were talkin' about our homes and how we get around our beautiful city. Housing, that's a big one around here, isn't it? And then there's the talk about the roads and how we navigate 'em.

* **Weather Warnings:** A steady stream of alerts had us all lookin' out the window.

* **Housing:** Always a hot topic, eh?

* **Transportation:** Talk about how we move about this fine city.

So, from the storms brewin' to the roofs over our heads, that's what's been on the minds of the folks at City Hall. Makes you wonder what they'll get up to next, doesn't it?

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
