It's been a long haul for Medicine Hat to host these games, facing delays like a long winter. But now, they're ready to welcome athletes from all over Canada. The organizers are promising a real show, and I reckon they'll deliver. What's interesting is how a big event like this, just an hour and a half away, still sends a ripple through our community. We share the same prairie spirit, the same wide-open sky.
