🏛 EXCLUSIVE: CITY HALL DATA — Only on The Desk

LA's biggest problem is literally your trash

Your trash problem is literally our biggest issue

Okay so check it— your City Hall data is out, and no mames, we're literally drowning in trash, fam. According to the latest 311 service requests, the number one thing Angelenos are asking for help with is "Item Pickups." We're talking 8,686 requests, like, just for regular item pickups. And then right after that? "Illegal Dumping Item Pickup" with 7,883 requests. That's almost 16,000 calls just about trash! It's wild.

### What’s The Deal With All This Trash?

It makes you wonder, right? Like, are people just dumping stuff everywhere? Or is the city just not keeping up with the regular pick-ups? Because, oye, when you drive down, say, Hoover, or even like, over by the river in Frogtown, you see it. It’s not just the Westside with their fancy "bulky item pickup" services, ya sabes. This is impacting *everyone* across the city. And it totally overshadows everything else, even graffiti removal, which came in at 2,609 requests.

This isn't just an eyesore, it’s a public health thing. We gotta watch what City Hall does to address this, because it shows where the city’s priorities truly are.

That's the real LA, fam — east of the 110.
