Miami's school zone cameras are a scam. You won't believe this ticket.

You won't believe this school zone ticket, bro

Bro, listen— you know how I’m always going on about how everything in this city feels like it’s just trying to extract money from your pocket? The insurance, the rent, the cafecito prices going up. But this one, acere, this takes the croqueta. Someone in Miami just got a speeding ticket from a school zone camera for a school zone they NEVER EVEN DROVE THROUGH. Que bola, right? They got hit for speeding near a school on Northwest 103rd Street, but the driver was on LeJeune Road, miles away.

Nah because, how does that even happen? You're just minding your business, probably stuck in traffic on the Palmetto, praying you make it to work on time, and then BOOM! A ticket for a place you weren't. These cameras are supposed to make our kids safe, which, dale, I'm all for that. My niece goes to school right near Hialeah High, you think I want people flying through there? No. But if the system is this broken, if it’s just randomly hitting people for offenses they didn't commit, that’s not safety, that’s a glitch in the Matrix and a straight-up scam, bro.

### What This Means for Miami Drivers

This ain't just one guy's problem, nah. This is about trust, you know?

* **Financial Hit:** Imagine getting a ticket that's probably like, $200, $300, and you gotta fight it, take time off work. That's real money for a lot of families out here.

* **Systemic Issues:** If one camera is doing this, how many more are out there making mistakes? And how many people are just paying these tickets without even realizing they're bogus?

* **Wasted Time:** We already spend half our lives in traffic, now we gotta spend the other half fighting ghost tickets? Come on, man.

This stuff just adds to the feeling that you gotta stay on your toes 24/7 in Miami, just to make sure you ain't getting played. It’s enough dealing with the potholes and the drivers who think turn signals are optional. Now this? That's Miami, bro.

Dale, that's how we do it in the 305.

Catch all this wildness and more with the crew every morning – you gotta tune in live at mornings.live.
