Your Wild are home and ready for the Dallas Stars

Uff da, you betcha, it's gameday morning in Minneapolis, and there's a buzz in the air thicker than a hot dish at a church potluck! Your Minnesota Wild are back at the Grand Casino Arena tonight, and it’s a big one against the Dallas Stars. We’ve been a little streaky lately, going 4-4-2 in our last ten, and coming off a tough loss. But you know what? That just means the boys are hungry, and the faithful here in the State of Hockey are ready to roar. I'm telling you, you can feel it from the lakes all the way down to Mickey's Diner, folks are ready for some good hockey.

What am I watching for tonight? Well, it’s always a measuring stick when the Dallas Stars come to town. There’s a history there, you know? A certain wound that never quite heals when you hear that name. Fuck Norm Green. Anyway, this isn't just about old grudges; it's about two Central Division teams battling for position. The Wild are sitting third, but we need to keep that momentum building, especially for all the little squirts in youth hockey looking up to these guys. I’ll be keeping an eye on our special teams; we need to be sharp on the power play and the penalty kill against a team like Dallas.

This is a chance for the Minnesota Wild to really show what they’re made of. The energy is there, you can practically hear the "Skol" chants echoing off the Stone Arch Bridge already. It’s a home game, a chance to get back in the win column, and a chance to make a statement. Let's get loud, Minnesota! Let's show the Dallas Stars what true hockey passion sounds like.

You betcha — Let's Play Hockey. This is Ingie Olsen-Carlson.

Oh, and Keith and the crew are always breaking down the good, the bad, and the ugly every morning — check 'em out live at mornings.live.
