Your commute might get fixed without new taxes? Really, Nashville?

Your roads might get fixed without you paying more

Man, look, I’m always talking about this city’s growth, right? And how the infrastructure just ain't keeping up. We got traffic on I-65 that makes you wanna pull your hair out, and don't even get me started on getting across the river from East Nashville to Germantown during rush hour. So when I see Williamson County leaders out here talking about fixing our roads statewide *without* raising taxes? That's the kind of wild, almost too-good-to-be-true idea that makes you lean in a little closer, even if you're skeptical.

Now, I'm from North Nashville, born and raised, and I've seen firsthand how development impacts everything – from the folks who live here to how long it takes you to get to Prince's on Ewing Drive for some real hot chicken. So, if these Williamson County folks really got a plan to improve our commutes without hitting our pockets, that's something worth listening to. Because if they can figure out a way to ease some of this congestion, especially on the main arteries that connect us from Franklin up to Hendersonville, well, that'd be something. That's the real Nashville, y'all — before the neon and after.
