Those AHS witches are coming back to New Orleans!

Your favorite witches are coming back to New Awlins, baby

Okay, cher, so you remember *American Horror Story: Coven*, right? The one with Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, all them phenomenal women doing voodoo and magic and looking fierce in those Garden District mansions? Well, guess what, they bringing it back for Season 13! The original characters from that beloved third season are officially returning. And you know what that means for us here in New Awlins: more eyes on our beautiful, spooky, mysterious city.

Now, for those who didn't catch it the first time, *Coven* was set right here, baby. They filmed all over the place – those grand, old homes on Esplanade Avenue, the spooky vibes of Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, even places that looked a whole lot like the Pharmacy Museum. It showed off a side of New Awlins that's real, even if it's got a little bit of Hollywood magic sprinkled on top. It ain't Bourbon Street, you know? It's the real history, the real mystery that people like us grow up with.

* **What This Means for New Orleans:**

* **More tourism (the good kind, maybe?):** People who loved the show are gonna want to come see where it "happened." Hopefully, they'll wander off the beaten path, past the Quarter, maybe even check out the Tremé or the Bywater.

* **Another chance to show off our unique culture:** *Coven* really leaned into the spiritual and magical traditions that have roots here, from Voodoo to Creole folklore. It’s part of our soul, baby.

* **Fingers crossed for local talent:** When they film here, they hire local crews, local actors, and they spend money in our restaurants and shops. That’s always a good thing for the city.

This ain't just some TV show, cher. It's a spotlight on the unique spirit of New Awlins. It reminds folks that we are more than just parades and parties; we got deep roots, old magic, and stories etched into every single brick and wrought-iron balcony. That's New Orleans, baby — we bury our dead above ground and keep the music below.

Y'all, Deshawn and the crew are gonna have a field day with this one on the morning show — catch 'em live at mornings.live!
