Your City Hall Reports Are Flowing Again

Here's the thing about Peterborough, the currents of civic life, much like the Otonabee itself, can sometimes feel a little dammed up, or perhaps, a bit turbulent. This past week, we’ve been navigating a mix of both.

We started the week feeling the approach of budget season, which is always a significant current to contend with. There’s a lot of upstream paddling as development permits come across council’s desk. We also had that active weather alert reminding us that even the calmest waters can churn. By mid-week, the flow of information felt a bit backed up, but as the week closes, it feels like those channels are clearing again. It's a continuous cycle, isn't it?

* Budget season is on the horizon

* Development permits are under review

* We weathered a significant storm alert

* Information flow felt a bit turbulent, now smoother

For Peterborough residents, this means keeping an eye on how these decisions will shape our community, from the taxes we pay to the new buildings rising along the river.

This is the Electric City — small town, big current. Let's go.
