🏛 EXCLUSIVE: CITY HALL DATA — Only on The Desk

Saskatoon's bike lane drama just keeps going, what do you even think?

Saskatoon is always talking about bike lanes, you know?

Okay, so this is actually wild, but Saskatoon City Hall is a place where you can find drama without even trying! Forget Netflix, I'm watching the next council meeting. This week has been all about those bike lanes again, like we haven't been debating them since I was trying to learn how to ride one myself down by the riverbank. Every time it comes up, it’s like half the city is ready to cycle to work and the other half thinks it’s a plot to make Broadway Avenue even harder to navigate. Saskatoon is a city that will invite you to a farm-to-table dinner and then make you defend the concept of a city for twenty minutes, and these bike lanes are just another example. It's never dull, even when it feels like we're just recycling the same arguments.

Saskatoon — seven bridges, two rivers, and something happening you haven't heard about yet.
