A parade of icebergs just floated into your Narrows.

Your eyes won't believe what's floatin' into our Narrows, b'y

Whaddya at, b'y — this is St. John's, oldest city in North America, and we're still here. Let's go.

I'll tell ya one thing, b'y, there's a sight comin' into our harbour that'll knock yer socks off, and I mean literally. Ya know how sometimes you go up to Signal Hill, maybe grab a coffee at the Battery Cafe, and you look out at da Narrows, and ya think, 'Ah, dis is nice, dis is home.' Well, right now, if you're up there, you're not just seein' fishing boats and container ships. Oh no, my darlin', you're seein' a parade of these ghostly, beautiful icebergs floatin' right by, like they're on their way to a fancy dress ball. People are gaspin', b'y, right there on da cliffs, and I don't blame 'em. It's a genuine wonder, like somethin' out of a dream, and it's right here in our own backyard.

### What This Means for St. John's

Now, you might think, 'Deirdre, icebergs are just icebergs, what's da big deal?' But this isn't just a couple of little growlers, b'y. This is a *parade*. It's a whole procession of 'em, majestic and enormous, makin' their way past Cape Spear, past da Rooms, and right into our view. It's a reminder of:

* **Our natural beauty:** We live on da edge of da world, and sometimes da world brings its most spectacular shows right to us.

* **A tourist draw:** Forget da screech-ins for a minute (just a minute, mind ya). This is da real deal, somethin' people travel for.

* **The unexpected joy:** In a world full of hard news, sometimes you just need to stand on a cliff and gasp at somethin' truly beautiful.

It's a sight that just puts a smile on your face, b'y, especially after da last couple of years. It’s like da ocean itself is puttin' on a show just for us, right here in St. John's. So if you got a minute, grab your coat, head up to Signal Hill or find a spot on da East Coast Trail near da Narrows, and take it all in. You won't regret it.

That's da scoop from me, b'y. Rosie and da crew talk about stuff like dis every mornin' – catch 'em live at mornings.live.
