Someone drove their car on a Polk County golf course. Seriously.

SHARE

Okay wait—you are NOT going to believe what happened up in Polk County, bro. We got a woman, deadass, driving her *car* on a golf course. Not a golf cart, not some little buggy, her whole damn car. I'm telling you, this is wild.

### Golf Course Joyride

So, picture this: it's May 14th, and this Palmetto woman decides the fairways of a Polk County golf course are just perfect for her sedan. The deputies with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, or PCSO as we call them, ended up charging her with DUI. I mean, c'mon. This isn't Bayshore Boulevard where you can just cruise. This is a golf course! You got people out there trying to enjoy their Sunday, maybe grab a cafecito at the clubhouse, and then BAM—you got a rogue driver. I don't know if she thought it was a shortcut, or if she was trying to avoid the I-4 traffic, but no, mija, that ain't it.

What This Means for Tampa Bay:

* **Safety First:** Seriously, stay off the golf courses, bro. Not just for your safety, but for the safety of the poor groundskeepers and golfers trying to enjoy their game.

* **DUI Awareness:** This is a good reminder, especially with summer coming and all the boat days, to not mess around with drinking and driving. Uber exists!

* **Neighboring Shenanigans:** Even though this was Polk County, it's close enough that it still makes you shake your head and go, "Only in Florida, man."

Honestly, I’ve seen some things living here, but a car on a golf course? That's a new one. Probably saw too many alligators in the canals and just snapped, who knows. That's Tampa Bay, bro — sunshine, storms, and we're not moving.

My people on the Morning Wire chat about these kinds of wild stories every day—catch 'em live at mornings.live.
