Here's what happened to the Vegas Golden Knights last night (VGK 5, ANA 1)

Your Knights are heating up, so don't miss this!

Man, I’m still buzzing from last night, you know? The Vegas Golden Knights went down to Anaheim and absolutely handled the Ducks, taking a 5-1 win that felt like a statement. It was a road game, sure, but the energy was all ours from the jump. We saw Michael Marner open the scoring just over a minute into the first, then Brett Howden dropped a shorthanded beauty eight and a half minutes in, followed by a power play goal from Shea Theodore at 17:19. That’s a 3-0 lead in the first period, folks! Even with Mason Granlund getting one back for Anaheim in the second, Pavel Dorofeyev sealed the deal with *two* goals in the third. Shot count was 21-32 in their favor, but who cares when you’re lighting up the scoreboard like that? That's a comp, baby, straight to the bank.

This win is huge, not just for the two points, but for the momentum. We’re sitting pretty at 39-26-17 with 95 points, still leading the Pacific Division, and that 7-0-3 record in our last ten? That’s not just good, that’s *all in* territory. William Karlsson and Shea Theodore were setting things up early, Tomas Hertl got an assist on the power play, and Ivan Barbashev and Niclas Hanifin helped Dorofeyev put the Ducks away. It’s exactly the kind of play we need as the regular season winds down, especially with the schedule tightening up. The house edge is definitely in our favor when the boys play like this.

This morning in Las Vegas, there’s a different kind of buzz than the usual Strip neon. It’s the sound of a city that knows its team is peaking at the right time. You can feel it from Summerlin all the way down to the Arts District, where even my favorite Thai spot owner gave me a nod this morning, like he knew what was up. We're a legit hockey town, and wins like this just solidify it. The Vegas Golden Knights are showing everyone they’re here to play for keeps.
