Here's what happened to the Vegas Golden Knights last night (VGK 4, COL 2)

The Golden Knights just keep rolling, baby!

Your Golden Knights picked up another huge road win last night, beating the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 in a game that felt like a playoff preview. I know some of you probably had to call it a night after the second period, but man, what a finish. Zach Whitecloud and Jonathan Marchessault didn't hit the scoresheet but their energy was palpable, especially early on. It was a tight battle through the first, then things got spicy. Daniil Coghlan got us on the board in the second, followed up quick by Pavel Dorofeyev on the power play – a nice comp for all the hard work he's been putting in. Then Brett Howden started the third with another one, and even though Colorado tried to make a push with goals from Valeri Nichushkin and Gabriel Landeskog, Nic Dowd put the icing on the cake with an empty netter with just seconds left. We were outshot, 28-38, but Adin Hill stood on his head when it mattered most.

This win is massive for the Vegas Golden Knights, truly. We're now sitting at 39-26-17, good for 95 points and firmly in first place in the Pacific. That’s seven wins in our last ten, and a new win streak brewing. This team, since 2017, has always found a way to flip the switch when the chips are down, and right now, they're playing like they want to go all in. Every point matters with the regular season winding down, and taking two from a Central Division powerhouse like the Colorado Avalanche on their ice? That’s not just a win, that’s a statement. It means we’re ready to defend what’s ours.

The energy around Las Vegas this morning, even before the sun fully clears the Spring Mountains, feels different. You can feel it from the Arts District all the way down to the Strip. People are walking a little taller, talking a little louder. We've been here before, sure, but this year feels special, another chapter in the story we started writing back in 2017. This team just keeps proving all the doubters wrong, and honestly? We love being the villain.
