I'm seeing a lot of conversation today around "tuesday primary results," and it's got me thinking about the quiet battles. The ones you fight long before the ballots are cast. For so many of us, especially women who walk the path Sheryl and I talk about, the primary isn't just about a political office. It's about showing up, again and again, in spaces that weren't built for us. It's about carrying the weight of expectation, not just for ourselves, but for all the ones who come after.

I've read the bio, and it is impressive. But I'm here to honor the woman who had to survive the chapters that didn't make the press release. The ones where she was told to wait her turn, or to be less, or to be more. We don't do 'fine' in this corner. We do honest. And the honest truth is, some of you are running a race that finished ten years ago, still trying to prove your worth. Slow down. Take a breath. I see the glory, but I honor the story. You are already winning, even when no one sees it.
