Your Dallas neighbors made 29,250 311 calls about what?

Dallas is complaining about what, y'all?

Look— Dallas on the wire, big hat, bigger story. And what's the biggest story out of City Hall right now? What Dallas residents are *actually* asking for. Y'all know the 311 service request line? It’s where you call about everything from a busted street light to a stray dog. Well, the latest data just dropped, and it's telling us a whole lot about what folks care about most.

The top request, by a *country mile*, is "Code Concern - CCS" with a whopping 29,250 requests. That's almost 30,000 calls about things like overgrown weeds, junk cars in yards, or unpermitted construction. It tells you folks are keeping a sharp eye on their neighborhoods. My *mamá* would say, "Es de buen vecino cuidar tu calle," and it looks like Dallas agrees.

Then, way down the list, but still significant, we have "Single Family Rental Needs Registration - CCS" with 1,293 requests. This is about making sure landlords are playing by the rules and keeping their properties up to snuff, especially with so many folks renting. It's a snapshot of how Dallas is growing and changing, and how residents are trying to keep up.

What does this all mean for us? It means our neighborhoods, from Pleasant Grove to the Bishop Arts District, are still the heart of it all. People want their streets clean and their homes safe. We'll be watching how City Hall responds to these concerns in the coming budget talks.

Dallas on the wire — big hat, bigger story.
