City Hall wants your Halifax home to be more accessible.

Your week at City Hall: It was all about how we live, my son!

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Well now, what a week we've had down at City Hall, eh? It felt like every conversation, every report, came back to one thing: how we get around and where we lay our heads at night. We’ve been hearing a lot from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) about making our homes more accessible for everyone, which is some good to hear. They even brought in some new folks to help navigate the whole real estate journey.

Here's the gist of it:

* **Accessibility in Housing:** CREA is pushing for homes that work for all, something that really resonates here in Halifax.

* **New Voices in Real Estate:** Fresh perspectives are joining the conversation to shape how we buy and sell property.

* **Getting Around:** Even though it felt like we were all about real estate, there was still plenty of chatter about our daily commutes and making them smoother.

It’s all about building a better Halifax, my son. From the homes we live in, right down to the trip to grab a donair down on Spring Garden Road.

Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.

Catch more Halifax yarns every day at mornings.live.
